Dr. Eline Dekeyster obtained her PhD in Neuroscience in 2015. Her career in science was born from her keen interest and curiosity to know the mechanisms and nature of things coupled with a desire to make a positive impact to the world. This all comes together in Ketostyle. By providing people with scientifically correct information on the ketogenic lifestyle, she wants to contribute to a better, healthier world.
Eline’s experience with a ketogenic lifestyle started a couple of years ago, when she was suffering low energy levels and digestion problems. Switching to a so called semi-ketogenic diet, reduced symptoms such as bloating and in addition gave her back the positive energy she used to irradiate. Based on this positive experience, Eline -as a real scientist- started digging into detailed scientific literature to learn everything about ketosis. She connected with dr. Ryan Lowery -one of the key opinion leaders in the field- and his team, and joined the online master course to obtain the Ketogenic Mastery degree.
Despite the positive effects of nutritional ketosis, many people have a hard time to stick to the ketogenic diet, This is where exogenous ketones come in play. Triggered by her own experience and out of scientific interest, Eline tried-out what the effect of drinking ketones on her body would be. Although skeptical and critical at start, she couldn’t ignore that the effect was tremendous. The exogenous ketones help her to experience the benefits of being in ketosis continuously. Stunned by this result, Eline became a promoter of exogenous ketones as a supplement for specific needs.
